CT27-100 POCKET CONCRETE PENETROMETER
A lightweight penetrometer for field and laboratory evaluation of the initial set of concrete mortar based on ASTM C 403.
The tip area of penetration plunger is 32 mm2 ( 0.05 inch2) . The penetration plunger steadily pushed into the mortar to a depth of 25.4 mm, indicated on the shaft, and the resistance in kPA and lbf/ in2 is shown on the dual marked direct reading scale by the max load indicator. With scale graduated to 4800 kPA and 700 lbs/ in2.
